Man wounded in Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police say a man was injured early Friday in a shooting in Greensboro.

According to police, the shooting was reported shortly after 2:45 a.m. at 801 East Market St.

When they arrived, police say they learned the victim, a 23-year-old man, had been taken to an area hospital by private vehicle.

The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, police said.

No ample suspect description was provided.
