Silver Alert issued for missing Alamance County teen

GRAHAM, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 15-year-old Alamance County girl.

The alert was issued shortly after 1:30 p.m. for Anesuishe MakaMaka Kagura, who is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment.

Officials say Kagura goes by “Annie.”

Kagura was last seen at 1138 Trollinger Road in Graham.

She is described as standing 5’3″ tall and weighing 150 pounds.

Deputies say Kagura could be attempting to travel to Canada, where her father lives.  They added she was carrying a pink book bag with flowers printed on it.  Her method of travel was not known.

Anyone with information about Kagura’s whereabouts is asked to call Sgt Baldwin at the Alamance County Sheriff Office at (336) 570-6777.
