Missoni founder Ottavio Missoni dead at 92

Ottavio Missoni, founder of the Italian fashion company known for its zig-zag knitwear, has died. He was 92.

A company spokeswoman said Missoni died during the night in the northern town of Sumirago at the family home.

He had been recently hospitalized for heart problems.

Missoni founded the fashion company in the 1950s with his wife Rosita.
