Breast cancer organization holds ‘The Great Gatsby’ themed benefit in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C.– F. Scott Fitzgerald couldn’t have said it better when he wrote the words, “Can’t repeat the past? Of course you can!” in The Great Gatsby.

Many turned out in their dresses and 1920s suit to the grand opening of the Grand-Luxe Theatre in Greensboro Thursday evening, that included a showing of the newly released movie The Great Gatsby.

It was all for a good cause, too–the event benefitted the breast cancer organization Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test.
