Burlington police arrest man accused in stabbing

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police said they arrested a man accused of stabbing two men after an argument.

Police said Christopher Earl Blackwell was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.

Authorities said the victims were found in a parked vehicle in the 300 block of Apple Street Sunday afternoon.

Police said one had two apparent stab wounds on the right side of his abdomen and right forearm and the other had a laceration to the right arm.

Officials said Blackwell was placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
