LEXINGTON, N.C. -- The assets of the closed Linwood Furniture company were bought by Liquid Asset Partners and the company plans to hold a public liquidation sale starting Monday on the factory floor.

The sale starts Monday at 9 a.m. at 3979 Old Linwood Road in Lexington and will offer items including hardwood furniture.

Linwood declared bankruptcy last July after being sold and now everything in the building is for sale.

Organizers said there are about 4,000 finished pieces of furniture including headboards, footboards, dressers, tables and chairs.
