Five injured during shooting at house party in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting at a house party that left five people injured early Saturday morning in east Charlotte.

WSOC reported that the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. on William Reynolds Drive.

Authorities said one of the wounded men suffered life-threatening injuries, while the other four men were not as seriously wounded.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said the shooting happened in the front yard of a home after an argument during a party.

No arrests have been made, and investigators said they are trying to figure out what led to the shooting.
