Sexual assault reported on NCSU campus

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police say they’re looking for a suspect after a sexual assault was reported early Thursday morning on the campus of N.C. State University.

WTVD reports a female student was allegedly assaulted around 4 a.m. by a male suspect near the Free Expression Tunnel.

The victim told police she was pushed into the bushes near the tunnel’s north side and then attacked, WTVD reports.

The suspect was last seen running away from the scene in a northern direction.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 25.  He had short hair and stood about 5’10” tall.  He was wearing a black shirt with white writing and blue jeans at the time of the alleged incident.
