Ex-husband attacks Charlotte woman with hatchet, hurls boulder at car

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A Charlotte woman told police that her ex-husband tried to attack her with a hatchet on Tuesday, according to WBTV.

The incident was reported on the 5700 of Stephanie Street at 6:30 p.m., according to the report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

The woman said her ex-husband came at her with a hatchet in and aggressive manner, trying to harm her.

When she tried to leave in her car, he hurled the hatchet at her.

He then picked up a boulder off the ground and launched it at the car, damaging the passenger side door, according to the WBTV.

The woman was not injured.
