BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police said they are looking for a suspect after a restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Friday night in Burlington.

Burlington police said the gunman entered Captain D’s Restaurant at 2555 Maple Ave. shortly after 11 p.m. demanding money.

Police said an on-duty manager and another employee were present at the time. No injuries were reported.

Authorities said the suspect left on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid-20s, standing between 5’11” and 6’02” with a thin build. Police said he wore a plaid shirt, blue jeans and black ski mask over his face.
