BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Police are still looking for answers one year after a Burlington woman disappeared.

Debra Dianne Sellars’s abandoned car was found a few days later after she vanished on April 20, 2012 and her body was found six months later.

Authorities have ruled her death a homicide after an autopsy showed that someone stabbed her.

Police said her body was found in October on Union Ridge Road just outside of Burlington.

Burlington police are asking the public to help find this woman’s killer. The Burlington Police Department can be called at (336) 229-3500.
