GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Authorities are investigating a fire at a Greensboro medical center as arson.

Police say they responded shortly before 4 a.m. Wednesday to a fire alarm at the Merritt Medical Plaza located at 1511 Westover Terrace.

When firefighters arrived, police say they found a small fire at the back of the building.  Some smoke got inside the building, but police said the damage was "minimal."

Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set.
