Building partially collapses in Statesville during three-alarm fire

STATESVILLE, N.C. — Authorities said one person was taken to the hospital after a building partially collapsed Sunday morning in Statesville.

WSOC reported that it happened at the Bartlett Milling Company on South Center Street in Statesville around 8:30 a.m.

The station reported that firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire, explosion and collapse at the location.

Officials said the fire continues to burn at this time due to access issues in the collapsed area.

Police said everyone that was inside the building was accounted for. Details on the person who was taken to the hospital were not released.
