Police looking for suspect who stole cigarettes in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who stole cigarettes from a Greensboro convenience store.

A Crimestoppers notice issued Tuesday indicates the suspect pictured in the above surveillance photos stole two cartons of Newport cigarettes on Friday, March 15 from a store in the 3600 block of West Wendover Ave.

The cigarettes were valued at about $90.

The suspect was last seen leaving the store on foot, police said.

He is described as a light-skinned black male between the ages of 20 and 30 standing 5’10” tall and weighing 175 pounds.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at (336) 373-1000.
