Police looking for robbery, assault suspect in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted on charges including common law robbery, larceny of a vehicle and assault on a female.

Police on Tuesday issued a Crimestoppers alert for 47-year-old Joseph Lamont Jackson.

Jackson is described as standing 5’11” tall and weighing 185 pounds.

Police say the suspect is driving a stolen, gold 1992 Honda Accord with N.C. registration “TTE-1203.”  The car has a crack in the windshield on the passenger’s side and a gold letter “B” hanging from the rear-view mirror.

The suspect is said to frequent the Burlington and Mebane areas, police said.

Anyone with information about Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at (336) 373-1000.
