Suspects arrested in Walkertown bank robbery

WALKERTOWN, N.C–Forsyth County Investigators have identified and arrested the man sought in the March 8 robbery of the SunTrust bank on 2820 Old Hollow Road.

Police arrested and charged David Salter, 37, with robbery. He was also charged in a second robbery on March 10 at the One Stop store in Kernersville, according to investigators.

Police also arrested a second suspect, Cathy Salter, 35, as an accomplice in the robbery. She is charged with aiding and abetting robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Both are being held under bond in Forsyth County Detention Center.

A hearing is set for April 4.
