U.S. 52 north ramp from U.S. 421 closures planned Wed. through Fri.

RALEIGH — Weather permitting, the N.C. Department of Transportation will replace concrete on the U.S. 52 North ramp from Business I-40 West/U.S. 421 North over the next three days, opening the ramp only between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. each day for morning rush hour.

The ramp will close at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, and reopen again at 6 a.m. on Thursday, then close at 9 a.m. and reopen on Friday, March 15, at 6 a.m.

Motorists can detour the area by taking U.S. 52 South (Exit 6A) to U.S. 421 South (Exit109A), then U.S. 52 North (Exit 6B).

Motorists are reminded to go slowly, watch for caution signs and allow extra time to reach their destination.
