R.E.M. album reissue includes music from Greensboro concert

GREENBORO, N.C.– R.E.M. is reissuing its major-label debut album Green, that includes a bonus live album from the band’s 1989 concert in Greensboro, the News and Record reports.

All 21 songs were recorded Nov. 10, 1989, in Greensboro.

The band had their first recording session at Mitch Easter’s drive-in Studio in Winston-Salem.
