Rowan County man faces 35 animal cruelty charges

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C.– A Gold Hill man is facing 35 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty after he allegedly did not feed multiple animals including dogs, kittens and a parrot, The Salisbury Post reports.

Some of the animals had skin conditions, eye infections and many were underweight. One dog was blind, according to the report.

The man is due in court in April.
