Program recognizes senior volunteers for local contributions

The Salute to Senior Service program recognizes senior volunteers for the contributions they make in their local communities.

Nominations are being accepted until March 31.  Winners across the state will be selected by popular vote at

Online voting will take place between April 15 and April 13.

A single Salute to Senior Service honoree will be selected from the state winners by a national panel of senior care experts.

Home Instead, Inc. will donate $500 to each of the state winners’ favorite nonprofit organizations.  In addition, $5,000 will be donated to the national winner`s nonprofit charity of choice.  Their stories will also be posted on the Salute to Senior Service Wall of Fame.
