Police: Winston-Salem business robbed at gunpoint

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police said they are looking for a suspect after a business was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night in Winston-Salem.

Authorities said a man entered the Tierra Caliente Store at 410 Waughtown St. around 8 p.m. demanding money with a gun.

Officials said the suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash after the robbery. No injuries were reported. A complete description of the suspect was not released.

Police said the case has been referred to the Winston-Salem Criminal Investigations Division for follow-up investigation.
