Man, woman charged with selling cocaine in Caswell County

PELHAM, N.C. — A man and a woman have been arrested on multiple drug charges in Caswell County.

According to the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office, deputies on Friday served a search warrant at 116 Bassett Drive in Pelham.

During the search, deputies said they seized about four grams of cocaine, a gun with ammunition, drug paraphernalia, digital scales and $473 in cash.

Matthew Streater Jr., 38, and Tonya Michelle Dixon, 36, were arrested as a result of the search.  Deputies said both suspects live at the address.

Both suspects are charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Streater also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Streater was jailed under a $75,000 secured bond, while Dixon received a $10,000 secured bond.
