Police: Man runs over woman’s legs in Burlington
BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police said a man was arrested after he ran over a woman’s legs with a car at a motorcycle club on Sunday night.
Authorities said the incident happened around 10:40 p.m. at B-Town Bikers at 422 N. Church St. after a disturbance inside.
Police said as people were trying to leave, a pedestrian’s legs were run over. Authorities said witnesses pointed out the car to police as it drove by.
Officials said the 55-year-old victim was flown to UNC Hospital via helicopter and is listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the victim had originally arrived at the bar as a passenger in the suspect vehicle.
The alleged driver, Vincent Price Jr., 26, of Salisbury, was charged with felony hit and run, driving without a license and driving the wrong way on a one way street. Officials said he was also arrested on two unrelated outstanding warrants.
A passenger was also arrested for unrelated warrants.
Police said a cell phone reported stolen from the scene was located and recovered from the suspect’s vehicle.
