Snickers the Labradoodle

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A community looking for a missing service dog in High Point said they are close to finding the pet — but they need the public’s help.

Snickers the Labradoodle has reportedly been seen at various times Sunday in High Point. The dog was reported to be on Spencer Road off Hickory Lane.

People searching for Snickers said they need a tranquilizer gun to subdue the pet because the dog will run off if approached.

Snickers’ owners say the dog has been missing for more than a month. They say they are concerned about the cold weather.

The dog works closely with autistic children.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for the dog, according to a Facebook group. Anyone who can help can call Rebecca Pugh at (336) 880-8701.
