A hoarder had to be rescued after he was found pinned under piles of debris.

CBC News reports the Canadian man, in his 70s, had to be rescued Monday by firefighters after he was trapped for three days.

CBC News reports the firefighters broke down the front door and cut their way across ceiling-high mounds of garbage to rescue the elderly man.

He was found severely dehydrated.

A relative called authorities when he hadn’t been seen in days.
