Girl, 4, dies after being struck by vehicle in driveway

HIGH POINT, NC -- A four-year-old girl died Tuesday after her family's 2006 Chevy Trailblazer struck her in the driveway on Monday.

According to the family of Tryonna English, she had just taken her backpack from the vehicle and was walking behind it when the Trailblazer slipped out of gear and rolled over her.

English was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries.

The High Point Police Department is investigating the accident and charges are possible.

The family is planning to lay Tryonna to rest Saturday near Spartanburg, South Carolina.
