A giant yellow duck could be seen floating in Sydney Harbor on Thursday ahead of its grand reveal this weekend.

The duck took a test run in advance of the upcoming Sydney Festival this weekend.

Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman created the five story high duck made of PVC.

Hofman wrote on his website:

“The Rubber Duck knows no frontiers, it doesn’t discriminate people and doesn’t have a political connotation.”

The duck will remain in the harbor through the end of the month.
