ARCHDALE, N.C. ---The Salvation Army is hoping for a big final weekend for it's annual Red Kettle Campaign.

The organization is getting some help from the Pioneer Family restaurant in Archdale.

Last year, the restaurant's owner, Mike Liner,  challenged the community to give $5,000 and he would match it.

This year, he's upped that challenge to $10,000.

So far, they've raised $4,184.04, about $5,800 shy of  their goal.

Donations can be made at the Pioneer Family Restaurant on North Main Street in Archdale.

Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted.
