Police invesigate reported shooting in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired and a man was taken to the hospital with injuries.

Police responded to the intersection of Martin Street and West Lee Street around 7:20 p.m. Thursday.

Police said they were told the person involved in the accident was taken to the hospital.

Officers found multiple shell casings at the scene.

The victim told police he was walking on Martin Street when he got caught in the crossfire between a dark colored Honda and another dark vehicle.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
