Jimmy Clausen’s T-shirt causes stir: ‘Catholics vs. Cousins’

Jimmy Clausen, current Panthers’ third-string quarterback and former Notre Dame quarterback, created a stir on Monday after he posted a photo of his ‘Catholics vs. Cousins’ T-shirt ahead of the national championship game between Notre Dame and Alabama.

On Monday, Clausen tweeted a photo of the T-shirt. The tweet has since been deleted.

Once Alabama fans caught wind of the photo, they responded to Clausen on Twitter. Clausen responded by tweeting:

“Some people have to much time on your hands! It’s a shirt people lol”

Clasuen went on to say the shirt was sent to him and he was “saying thank you” by posting the photo on Twitter.
