Female suspect sought in Greensboro robbery

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are searching for a female suspect who robbed a convenience store late Wednesday night in Greensboro. 

Police said they responded shortly before 11:30 p.m. to the Quick Mart at 2622 Battleground Ave. 

Store employees told police the suspect was wearing a gray ski mask when she walked into the store and demanded money while threatening to use a gun.  It was not clear if the suspect was actually armed. 

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.  Police said she may have left the scene in a small, white sedan that was last seen heading north on Battleground Avenue. 

The suspect is described as a white female standing 5’2″ tall with a thin build and shoulder-length hair.  She was wearing a black jacket, black jeans and a gray ski mask at the time of the robbery. 

No other details were provided.
