Lexington man charged with multiple child sex offenses

LEXINGTON, N.C. — A Lexington man has been charged with multiple sex offenses involving children. 

Douglas Andrew Morrow, 28, of Irma Avenue, is with five counts of first-degree sex offense with a child under the age of 13 and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. 

Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office said they began investigating allegations that Morrow sexually assaulted two children on Sunday, Oct. 21.  Investigators allege the crimes occurred between Jan. 1 and Oct. 21 of this year. 

The suspect was arrested Thursday and jailed under a $500,000 secured bond.  He has a court hearing slated for Nov. 20.
