Dunkin Donuts coming to Burlington

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Dunkin’ Donuts is planned to open in Burlington in the space formerly used by Azteca Mexican Restaurant.

The Burlington Times-News reported that the city’s planning department issued permits for construction at 2526 S. Church St. A proposed opening date was not released.

Dunkin’ Donuts is known for its cake-style doughnuts, muffins, bagels, breakfast sandwiches and coffee.

Krispy Kreme also has plans to open in Alamance County, on Huffman Mill Road.
