A paddle boarder off the north Kent coast in England rescued a puppy stranded on a rock several hundred feet from shore.

As shown in the video, the tide was coming in and the puppy, named Bam Bam, was just minutes away from being swept out to sea.

“There’s a little dog…and he’s stuck because of the tide,” Charlie Head said in the video of the rescue.

Head, 33, maneuvered his board and was eventually able to get him to stand on his paddle board.

Head rescued Bam Bam on Monday as he neared the Kent coast as part of a 3,000 mile cross-Atlantic trip in a one-man rowing boat. Head started the adventure back in July.

Officials are still trying to locate the dog’s owner.
