Silver alert issued for teen missing from Alamance Co. group home

HAW RIVER, N.C. — Officials issued a Silver Alert Sunday for a 14-year-old girl reported missing from a group home in Haw River.

Bryanna Mykala Wiggins is described as a 5’3″ black female weighing around 135 pounds.

Authorities said she was last seen wearing a purple tank top, black gym pants and multicolored mismatched socks.  

Officials said she might be headed to Wake, Wilson or Craven County.  

Authorities said Wiggins is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment.
