Greensboro man robbed at gunpoint in his backyard

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are searching for  two men suspected of robbing a man in his backyard on Wednesday evening.

According to police,  at 6:34 p.m. officers were dispatched to 2700 West Florida St. in reference to an armed robbery.

Police say  the victim was standing in his backyard when he was approached by two men, one of them carrying a handgun.

The suspect with the handgun demanded money from the victim and then stuck him with the gun. Afterwards, the two men fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police provided an incomplete description of the suspects.

The suspects were last seen running west on Florida Street where they entered a black colored sedan.
