Man struck, killed while walking across I-40 in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police say a man was killed Sunday night when he was struck by a vehicle while walking across Interstate 40 in Greensboro. 

Police said Gonzalo Reyes-Reynoso, 28, was walking across I-40 West near High Point Road shortly before 7:45 p.m. when he was struck by a 2004 Acura TL. 

Reyes-Reynoso died at the scene, police said. 

I-40 West was temporarily closed after the collision. 

Police are still investigating. No other details were provided.
