3 charged with drug possession after cyber-crime investigation in Graham

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies have charged three people from Graham with drug possession following an ongoing cyber-crime investigation.

On Thursday, Deputies arrested Kristen Taylor McGrath, 20, Catherine Margaret Honacher, 50,  and Michael C. Uhlhorn, 48, all of Creek Point Place, after executing a search warrant on their home in Graham.

According to deputies, a search warrant was issued as part of an ongoing cyber-bullying and cyber-stalking investigation.

Deputies seized multiple computers, hard drives, cell phones and other electronic devices as well as marijuana, schedule II and III drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Smith was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was placed under a $500 secured bond.

Honacher was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and possession of a schedule III drug. She was place under a $10,000 secured bond.

Uhlohorn was charged with simple possession of a schedule II drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was placed under a $10,000 secured bond.

Deputies say that the investigation relating to the alleged cyber-crimes is ongoing. No charges have been filed.
