Burlington woman accused of forging checks

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Burlington woman has reportedly been charged with check forgery.

According to the Burlington Times News, 44-year-old Jerri Annette Carter was charged Tuesday with forgery of endorsement and uttering a forged instrument.

Carter, who was already in the Alamance County Jail on unrelated charges, received an additional $10,000 bond, the paper reports.
