20-year-old arrested in connection with Greensboro homicide

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with a homicide that took place more than a year ago.

On Thursday, police arrested Daniel Rashad Gomez in connection with the homicide of Trevor Anthony Todd, Jr. who was fatally shot near the intersection of Pear Street and Moody Street on April 23, 2011

Gomez was arrested at an acquaintance’s home in Charlotte with the assistance of the city’s police department’s.

Gomez is charged with first degree murder and is being held in the Guilford County Jail without bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
