SC mother who left baby in bushes sentenced to probation

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A South Carolina mother convicted of leaving her 1-year-old in a row of bushes in the middle of the night will not serve any prison time.

WSOC reported that Kelly Cameron, 20, of Rock Hill, admitted in court to putting the baby in a stroller and leaving it in the bushes in front of her grandmother’s house back in August.

Cameron pleaded guilty to unlawful conduct toward a child. She was sentenced to probation and ordered her to counseling and drug and alcohol tests.
