Man, woman arrested after heroin found in Thomasville

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A man and woman were arrested after deputies said they found one gram of heroin during a traffic stop Tuesday in Thomasville.

Brandon Lee Grainger and Michelle Marie Peterson, both 29 and of Thomasville, were charged after deputies said they stopped the suspects at Johnsontown Road and Boggs Road.

Authorities said Grainger was charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver heroin and Peterson with possessing drug paraphernalia.

Officials said Grainger received a $10,000 secured bond and Peterson a $5,000 secured bond. Both suspects have court planned for Sept. 25.

The suspects have different listed addresses, Grainger on Pilot School Road and Peterson on Rotary Lane. No other details on the investigation were released.
