Classic car show coming to downtown Asheboro

ASHEBORO, N.C. — Classic cars will be on display for “Cruis’n Asheboro” Saturday, Sept. 22 in Asheboro.

The event takes place from 2 to 7 p.m. on the square in the city’s downtown area.

Organizers said Sunset Avenue will turned into a one way street at 11 a.m. to allow the cars to park along the street and cruise the block.

Organizers said Master of Ceremonies, Uncle Benny, will provide commentary and a 50/50 raffle and beach music will be included.
