King city employees hold moment of silence for 9/11 victims

KING, N.C. — King city employees held a moment of silence at 9 a.m. Tuesday in memory of victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York City.

The Stokes News reported that Mayor Jack Warren read a proclamation at Sept. 4’s King City Council meeting, marking the 11th anniversary of the attacks. September 11 was proclaimed a National Day of Service and Remembrance.
