Exhibit honoring former Stokes Co. sheriff now on display

STOKES CO., N.C. — An exhibit honoring former Stokes County Sheriff Mike Joyce is now on display at the Danbury Public Library.

The display is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 1007 N. Main Street in Danbury.

Deputies said the display features items belonging to Joyce, who served as sheriff for 20 years.

Officials said visitors may view the exhibit located in the “History Room” by signing in at the front desk.
