GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A community came together on Saturday, Sept. 1 for the Terra Cotta Festival in Greensboro.

The festival celebrates the historic neighborhood, which was established in the 1800s by the Pomona Terra Cotta Company for black workers and their families.

The week prior to the event, the International Civil Rights Center and Museum held its own event honoring the community.
