Ryan visiting NC Wednesday for rally, fundraiser
RALEIGH, N.C. — Mitt Romney’s choice for vice president is visiting North Carolina for a rally and fundraiser in Raleigh.
Romney’s presidential campaign announced Tuesday that Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan will hold a public event Wednesday afternoon at a power painting company. He will also participate in a private fundraiser at a home in Raleigh.
Ryan visited North Carolina with Romney the day after the former Massachusetts governor picked him Aug. 11 as his running mate for the Republican ticket. The pair visited Mooresville and High Point that day but bypassed an expected visit to the Triangle region to fly to Wisconsin.
Vice President Joe Biden visited Durham last week.
