HIGH POINT, N.C. — Officials said they are looking for a home for thousands of dolls after the Doll & Miniature Museum of High Point closes next month.

Phyllis Picklesimer, the board chairwoman, said it is time to close due to a poor economy and a lack of visitors.

Officials with the store said they want to keep the dolls in North Carolina and may possibly donate them to a non-profit organization.
