Police: Man assaulted with sharp object in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police said they are looking for a man suspected of assaulting another man with a sharp object Monday night at a motel room in Greensboro.

The victim told police an unknown man assaulted him around 8 p.m. at Studio 6 at 2000 Veasley Street. Police said the victim received an altercation from what may have been a knife.

The victim said the suspect then walked off in an unknown direction. Officials said the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a black male with long dread locks, wearing a blue tank top, and black and gold shorts.

The investigation is on going. Anyone with any information can call Crime stoppers at 373-1000.
