Forsyth Co. man charged with sexual offenses involving a juvenile

CLEMMONS, N.C. — A man accused of sexual offenses involving a juvenile was arrested Friday in Forsyth County.

Jerry Eldred Burnette, Jr., 33, of 6579 Holder Road in Clemmons, was charged with two counts of first degree rape, first degree sex offense and attempted first degree sex offense.

Forsyth County deputies said they started investigating an allegation of sexual misconduct involving an adult suspect and a juvenile June 26.

He received a $1,000,000 secured bond and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 31.

Deputies released no other information.
